1. Malleable Cast Iron (GTS – 35 according to DIN 1692)

...is an extremely stressable and persistant steel cast which can be worked on in various ways like drilling, bending, levelling, milling, grinding etc. It’s also good for various surface treatments. BEVER uses it i.a. for the lock squares and latchbolts.

2. zinc diecasting

Because of its fitting accuracy, its toughness, its versatility and because it’s very comfortably to work on, redistilled zinc - cast alloy, also called “Zamak”, has found its place in the door lock production. BEVER uses it for latchbolts, deadbolts and other small parts.

3. Delrin (Acetalhomopolymer)

Delrin is an impact resistant synthetic material which is extraordinarily sturdy, long living and almost maintenance-free, when it’s shaped functionally and appropriately for the material involved. BEVER uses it for latchbolts, deadbolts and in combination with a steel-plate also for the lock squares.
